MAXPRO MAX ARMOR PAINT PROTECTION FILM MAINTENANCE

AFTER INSTALLATION

  • Allow at least 48 hours for the film to settle and cure.
  • Avoid touching the film for a week.
  • Do not wash your car within 7 days of application.

REMOVE CONTAMINANTS PROMPTLY

  • Immediately remove bird droppings, bug splatter, and other contaminants.
  • Use a paint protection film cleaner if needed.
  • Handle light scratches by letting the film self-heal in the sun.

MAINTAIN YOUR PAINT PROTECTION FILM

  • After installing the film, avoid commercial car washes.
  • Remove dead bugs and dirt immediately to prevent stains.
  • Avoid using brushes or abrasive materials.
  • Apply car wash soap with a clean microfiber mitt.
  • Soak hard-to-clean spots with soap.
  • Dry the coating with a microfiber towel.
  • Use isopropyl alcohol for tough spots.
  • Pay special attention to dirt build-up in the film’s edges.
  • Consider detailing clay to maintain film’s smoothness

Maintenance Notes: Maintaining your paint protection film is crucial to prevent it from peeling off your vehicle’s paint. When waxing the film, ensure the wax contains less than 5% Kerosene or Naphtha and avoid waxes with dyes. Consider using PPF maintenance products for its films or other reputable car care shampoos, soaps, and waxes for effective maintenance.

PRESSURE WASHING

  • Avoid pressure washing to prevent damage to the film.
  • Pressure Washing Notes: It’s best to steer clear of high-pressure water sources like
  • pressure washers. If you must use a pressure washer, keep it at a safe distance from the
  • film and avoid spraying near the edges. Water pressure can lift the film’s edges and
  • detach it from the paint.

PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Use high-quality cleaning products.
  • Choose shampoos with lubrication additives.

Product Recommendation Notes: Invest in high-quality cleaning products and steer clear of low-quality car wash soaps that may contain harsh chemicals. Opt for shampoos with lubrication additives and use microfiber mitts designed specifically for car care.
