Automotive Window Film Installation Instruction

Following these steps will help ensure a professional and long-lasting installation of your automotive tint film.

1. Cleanliness is Crucial

Before applying tint film to your car’s windows, it’s essential to ensure they are completely clean.

Clean the windows: Remove any stickers, decals, or adhesive residue using a plastic scraper.

Degrease with rubbing alcohol

2. Inspect for Imperfections

Check for chips and cracks:
Smooth out rough edges

3. Trimming and Sizing

Measure twice, cut once: Ensure precise window measurements. Trimming oversized tint film neatly can be difficult. Use a sharp utility knife or a specialized tint-cutting tool.

4. Positioning the Film

Wet the glass: Remove the backing: Apply the film to the glass: Smooth it out

5. Finishing Touches

•  Trim excess film
•  Heat shrinkage
•  Final squeegee pass
